ESPRI involves residents impacted by issues of poverty to shape the direction of work and funding efforts. Much of our current social system doesn’t center the experiences and voices of the people; this initiative seeks to use resident engagement to shift that dynamic and influence outcome. Each initiative is directed by the Mayor and County Executive (depending on the municipality); the Mayor appoints a convening organization.
